If you have booked a Chalet, you will receive the following:

Chalet specifications/ interiors: 

Single unit double storey chalets  
Single exterior stairway from the static park 
Single internal staircase

1 x male & 1 x female toilet water & waste needs to be ordered separately 
1 x kitchen unit water & waste needs to ordered separately
1 x electrical distribution board supply needs to be ordered separately

Double unit double storey chalets

2 x exterior stairway from the static park
2 x single internal staircase

2 x male & 2 x female toilets water & waste needs to be ordered separately
2 x kitchen unit water & waste needs to be ordered separately
2 x electrical distribution board  supply needs to be ordered separately

Your chalet will be handed to you in a basic shell form.  It is your responsibility to appoint a contractor to design and dress the chalet interior but must be approved by the Organisers. 

Permission to access your chalet and commence construction will not be granted without the full approval of the Organisers.  We reserve the right to reject any plans which do not comply with the exhibition regulations. 

If you require alterations to the basic chalet structure, please email your requirements to pbooth@tarsus.co.uk  by  21 October 2022.

Air-Conditioning Units
All Double Storey chalets are provided with 3 AC units per double storey chalet unit. If you require any additional you will be chargeable. The Operations Team should be notified as soon as possible to avoid surcharges.   

Balconies & Outdoor Signage
Chalet balconies are provided with handrails and Astroturf flooring. It is not permitted to place/attach canopies, awnings or any other materials directly into/onto the chalet structure or ground floor terraces without permission from the Organisers.

Branding of the ground floor terrace railings is only permitted, if booked through your Sales Manager.  Please note the Organisers official contractor must oversee the production and installation of this element. This branding is permitted for the handrail section only.  

In the case of the upper deck, flat signage may be placed on the upper balustrade free of charge as part of the chalet booking. Details of all signage to be placed on the balustrades must be illustrated on the chalet designs and approved by the Organisers.

No structure, signboard or signage that obstructs or projects on to neighbouring chalets is permitted on the balconies or terraces. We reserve the right to remove any signage that does not comply with these rules.

Dilapidations
Please note that a security deposit of USD5,500 per double chalet unit must be paid in cash or by bank transfer to Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East before access to the chalets will be granted.

Exhibitors and their contractors are advised that no fixings, alteration or damage must be made to any part of the premises, except by DAEP’S own staff. Any damage to walls, columns, floor, hired accessories or other parts of the premises will be ducted from the security deposit post inspection. 

Hot-Working

Hot-Working within the existing chalets is strictly forbidden. Anyone found carrying out this practice will be asked to leave the venue immediately.

Late Working (Extra Build Up Hours): 
If you require extra build up time to complete your structure safely and need to continue working outside the publicised build up hours, you will need to inform the Organisers Office situated on level one of the main exhibition hall by 14:00 hrs on that day.  Sufficient health & safety coverage can then be arranged.  

A charge of AED 500 p/h (USD 140) per structure per day from (18:00-22:00) will apply and no work can continue after 22:00. Please note that all payments must be made in advance and a late working permit obtained before out of hours working can commence.

Chalet Submission for approval 
All Chalet plans need prior approval. Please upload the following as part of your submission:

  • Plan view, showing clearly, walling and major exhibits.
  • Elevation views, showing clearly all dimensions, graphics etc. for each open side.
  • Details of all walling, platforms, demonstration areas, exhibits, graphics, etc
  • Details of materials and fire protection
  • Technical drawing showing AC unit locations. If we do not receive these drawings, we will install the AC units where think suitable and any subsequent alterations will incur a cost 
  • Risk Assessment & Method Statement
  • Public Liability Insurance certificates from all contractors and other individuals working on your stand(s). Both with the PLI insurance to the value of US$2,000,000.
