Venue map: https://guestevents.firabarcelona.com/en/enclosure/granvia/#pano360
Access to service chests: Floor service chests need to be shown on your stand plans. This is a requirement for Fira Gran Via. The venue is quite strict about access to the service chests, as they are crucial for the proper functioning of the event. It’s important to make sure these ducts are accessible through a hatch or something similar.
Aerial equipment/drones: Drones are strictly prohibited. The display of any other aerial equipment on your stand is subject to approval by the Labelexpo team and Abraxys Global.
Aisles: All aisles must remain clear at all times during build-up and dismantling. Please make sure your contractors are informed and comply with these requirements. On show days, all aisles must be kept clear to prevent accidents and ensure emergency exits remain accessible, as required by law. Exceptions may apply for sponsorship items pre-booked with the organizer. Any other items left in the aisles will be removed by cleaners, and neither the organizer nor the Venue will be responsible for any loss or damage.
Please visit the Fira Store to order a skip/container to dispose the waste.
Animals: Animals are not allowed in the exhibition halls for the duration of the tenancy except for guide dogs. During the stand build-up and dismantle period, no animals will be allowed on-site if deemed unsafe. Written requests must be submitted and approved by the Operations Team. The organizer's decision is always final.
Audiovisual: DB Pixelhouse, our recommended AV supplier, offer a range of AV equipment, office equipment, and computers for hire. To place your order, refer to the contact details or forms section.
Alteration to exhibit layout: If any unforeseen circumstances occur that require an alteration to the layout of the exhibition floor plan, exhibitors will be informed at the earliest opportunity. The organizers cannot be held liable for any loss that this may cause the exhibitor. In the interest of the exhibition, it may be necessary to remove or alter anything in or on any part of the floorplan.
Back walls: All structural back walls of neighboring exhibition stands must be properly decorated and finished in white at the rear and against dividing walls above 2.5 meters.
Badges: No one is permitted into the exhibition hall during the stand build-up, or dismantling without the appropriate pass. Contractors should refer to the venue protocol to obtain the relevant passes for entry. All exhibitors, contractors, and visitors must always carry valid ID while on-site at Fira Gran Via.
- Exhibitor Badges: All exhibitors must wear exhibitor badges during the event’s open days, as these provide access to the exhibition floor with extended hours compared to visitors; specific access times can be found in the exhibition timetable. Exhibitor badges are valid on open days, during the build up and dismantling period.
- Contractor Badges: Contractors must register for badges before coming onsite for build-up and dismantling. It will delay your contractor's work if they do not have their badges before they come onsite, so please make sure to pre-register.
It is imperative that contractors complete the stand contractor infromation form via https://contractorpass.firabarcelona.com/WEB/E260025/passes
Our contractor badges are digital and are a QR code, every contractor entering the premises will need to have their contractor pass ready. Please note all contractors will need to always carry their ID's along with the QR code on their phones.
Contractor badges are not valid during the exhibition open days.
Temporary Staff badges: If you hire temporary staff or external providers like caterers or photographers, register them for a badge. This is required for access during exhibition open days. Contact the organizer for the badge link provided by Fira Gran Via.
Police checks: Please be aware that our events are subjected to random checks by the local police to ensure that all people working onsite are legally eligible to work. Please also be aware that contractor badges could be subject to random checks and proof of identity may be required.
Balloons: The use of balloons filled with combustible gas is prohibited in the halls. Balloons filled with safety gas may be allowed with organizer approval, provided they are anchored, within your stand space, and positioned no higher than 4 meters from the floor (2.5 meters for shell scheme stands). Charges apply for damage to air handling units or roof structures caused by balloons.
Flammable gases are not permitted, and helium cylinders must be removed after filling.
If you are planning to have balloons on your stand, please submit a plan detailing location, height, and attachment to Abraxys Global Limited. Include balloons in your risk assessment or submit a separate form if already completed.
Business Facilities: Fira Gran Via does not have a dedicated business center with professional office equipment for you and your staff to continue working. While the venue is conveniently located next to a shopping mall, it's crucial to come onsite fully prepared with any necessary materials or equipment you might need.
The shopping mall is located on:
Gran Via 2, Avinguda de la Granvia de l’Hospitalet, 75, 08908 L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona
Car / Van / Lorry passes: All vehicles must display their issued vehicle pass once on-site. Any trucks or other commercial vehicles should be registered with ILS prior to their onsite arrival through the logistics platform.

Carpeting/flooring: For all Shell Scheme stands, carpet will be provided by GES. The Shell Scheme carpet color will be light grey.
For space only stands needing carpet, Fira Gran Via is the official carpet provider for Labelexpo Europe. While space only exhibitors have flooring flexibility, we strongly recommend Rewind Carpet to support sustainability and simplify preparation. This choice is crucial for achieving a minimum Bronze level according to the Better Stands qualifying criteria, which recognizes sustainable practices. To order Rewind carpet, contact the venue directly for details on colors and installation.
By choosing sustainable flooring, you are enhancing your stand's appearance and contributing to an environmentally responsible event. For more information on the sustainability of the carpet, visit the Rewind website. Orders can be placed through the Fira Store.
It could be the case that the electricity outputs are not easily located within your stand. Exhibitors who order a large quantity of electricity and/or water are advised to order a raised floor to cover the cables and pipes. Please refer to the raised floors section for more information. For more information on maintaining service chests accessibility and understanding its potential impact on your carpet or raised floor, please consult the service chests section.

- Stands up to 100m2 1m width minimum.
- Stands over 100m2 1.5m width minimum.
- The maximum length of an escape route on a stand is 15m until an open area is reached.
- Should the escape route be longer than 15m a 2m width minimum or an alternative escape route must be created, leading to the opposite side of the stand.
- If the above cannot be achieved due to the large size of the stand, the stand should be designed in such way to ensure the shortest possible escape route. All layouts must be checked individually by the stand plan inspection agencies and are subject to onsite inspection.
All emergency signs must be visible and always illuminated. As standard practice exhibitors should review the area where the emergency sign is situated in order to decide if the sign can be photoluminescent or if additional lights must be installed.
For example:
Photoluminescent = A sign which is automatically charged by surrounding lights, hall lights or a strong source of natural light. Sufficient ambient lighting needs to be available to charge the sign.
Illuminated = If a sign is in a theatre, sufficient light to charge a photoluminescent charge will not be present; therefore, attendees will not be able to see a photoluminescent sign.
Areas which do not provide additional lights to charge the photoluminescent sign must use an illuminated sign.
Spanish regulations state that all signs must always be visible even when there is a blackout.
Fire: No inflammable or explosive materials shall be used for the construction of an exhibition stand and no paint spraying, or paint coating shall be carried out inside the exhibition hall.

Open frontages / solid walls: Stand walls (above 1.5m in height) that are on a gangway facing another exhibitors’ stand should not exceed 4m in length without an opening or glazed panel of at least 1m in width and 2.5m in height. Walls should either have natural breaks, glazed panels or an open view. In circumstances where an opening or vision panel is not practical, such as the wall of a plant room behind a machine, then a plan must be submitted, and written permission given from the Organizer for an exception to the above rule.
Partition walls: Exhibitors are required to construct freestanding partition walls between their own & adjoining stands. These must be at a minimum height of 2.5m and maximum height of 4m for single storey stands over 24sqm in size. Note: Where partitioning walls are constructed over 2.5m in height, it is the responsibility of the exhibitor constructing the wall to push the rear of the partition wall down to a height of 2.5m in white. All space only stands must be approved for construction by the organizer.
Pillar on your stand
Pillar measurements
- If your stand includes a pillar, please confirm its dimensions with the organizer.
- We recommend adding a 20cm margin to the provided measurements to avoid unexpected issues during setup.
Column Cladding
- Hall columns within stands may be cladded up to your maximum stand-building height, provided no damage occurs.
- Connection boxes: Any connection boxes on the pillar must remain accessible at all times.
- Vinyl columns: Vinyl installation on columns can only be performed by official Fira suppliers. This service can be contracted through the Fira Gran Via Sales Department at labelexpo@firabarcelona.com.

Adherence to these guidelines will ensure a smooth and compliant setup for your stand.
Planning: Contractors shall complete the construction within the prescribed time and area and take care of security work such as fire and burglary prevention.
Public address system: The public address system is for use by the organizers and authorities only. During the open period, only official and emergency messages will be broadcast.
Radioactive substances, lasers, obnoxious substances & flammable oils: Specific regulations exist concerning the exhibiting of such items & their use is prohibited without prior permission from the Fira Gran Via. Please forward written requests to the organizers giving full details of the intended activity & any control measures to be taken.
Raised Floors / Platforms: Space Only stands do not include any flooring/carpet; it is the responsibility of all space only exhibitors to lay their own appropriate floor covering.
All Space Only stands should install a raised platform for cable management to avoid any cable ramps. The general height should not exceed 100mm and must include a ramp for disabled access.
All corners of the raised flooring must be rounded off or protected.
If a service chest is located or partially located under your stand you must ensure that the duct is accessible with a hatch.
If you choose to install carpet, it must be secured using carpet tape that does not leave marks. The contractor or exhibitor is responsible for removing the carpet and tape without leaving any trace once the event concludes. Carpet and tape must be fully removed at the end of the event. Failure to remove them may result in additional charges to the exhibitor.
Please note that raised platform floors higher than 5cm (50mm) are required to have integrated ramp access to provide ease of access for everyone. Also, if there is a venue service chest located in your floor space, your stand must be designed to ensure that the venue will have access to this service chest at all times, regardless of whether there are live services coming from the service chest or not.
Please refer to the Service Chests section for more information.
Schedule: At the close of the exhibition, it is the joint responsibility of the exhibitor and contractor to dismantle and remove the stand in accordance with the dismantling schedule specified by the organizers. All debris and carpets must be cleared by the exhibitors and/or contractors. Failure to do so will result in exhibitors being liable for a fee.
Stand Numbering: All exhibitors should display their company name and stand number prominently on their stand so that they can be viewed from each approaching gangway. This will assist visitors in location their position within the hall and the finding the stands they wish to visit.
Strength/ Structure: The designed structural strengths of all exhibition stands shall meet the strength required by the load. During the construction period, efforts shall be made to ensure the overall strength, stiffness, stability, and local stability of the exhibition stand structure. Exhibition stand structures must not use thin load-bearing structural parts with a pipe wall thickness of 0.8mm not shall heavily rusted load-bearing structural parts be used.
Suspensions/rigging: Please view the rigging section of the portal.
Security: Don't leave your stand unattended at any time – you are not just negatively affecting your brand image, but you are also risking the security of your valuables.

To ensure accessibility while maintaining aesthetics, service chests may be covered with carpet or flooring solutions. However, it is crucial that these coverings can be easily lifted or removed to allow quick access in case of emergencies or future service needs.
- If your stand contains multiple service chests, you are free to decide which ones you want to use. When ordering your electrical installation through ServiFira, please include a floorplan marking the service chest you want to use.
- If your service chest is shared with another exhibitor(s), it must be accessible for your neighboring exhibitor(s) at any time. Therefore, shutting off power or placing a lockable cover on the service chest is strictly prohibited. ServiFira will inform you which duct will be used by the other exhibitor(s) if this is the case.
- Where there is a live service chest, the carpet or flooring should be designed to allow for access when necessary. While a pre-existing cut is not required, it must be possible to make a cut of approximately 100cm if needed. In the case of a raised floor, an access hatch should be incorporated into the design. With a hatch, a platform height of 5cm is recommended for electrical cables only, and 8cm if a water connection is planned for any of the neighboring stands.
Please note that it could be the case that live services are being sourced from the service chest on your stand to yourself and neighboring exhibitors. If you are unsure whether or not you have a service chest on your stand, please download the Service Chest floorplan here.

- If working machines will be placed on the stand full technical specifications of each machine must be submitted with your stand design. This is very important.
- Details of all walling, platforms, demonstration areas, exhibits, graphics, etc.
- Details of materials and fire protection.
- Health and safety declaration signed.
- Better Stands/ Contractor details form.
- If you are bringing a machine, you need to provide the technical specifications from all the machines you are bringing.
Complex suspended structures:
- All suspended structures are considered complex; thus, they require load distribution calculations and structural certification through Abraxys, our official stand plan inspection agency.
- Please note that all rigged elements must be inspected on-site before being lifted.
- Any additional cost is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
- All rigging and materials must be in accordance with Fira’s Rigging Guidelines and the material specifications.
- Please note that you are not allowed to hang any element/banner above the height limit as specified on the build height restrictions section.
- Please also refer to the build height restrictions for more information about special exceptions regarding technical trusses.
- Rigging orders must be placed before the deadline ends.
- Rigging is not permitted above shell scheme stands and hospitality suite packages, nor above public gangways.
- All rigging must be installed by the official rigging provider of Fira de Barcelona. All suspended fittings and apparatus such as lights, TVs sound clusters and speakers and display rigs, must be fitted with secondary safety wires/chains and brackets.
- It is strictly prohibited to tamper with any equipment installed by the official rigging provider of Fira de Barcelona including trusses, cables, shackles or slings.
- All rigging requests will be reviewed by the official structural technicians of Abraxys
- Rigging services that have not been declared on stand plans and have not received an engineer’s certificate in advance, will not be permitted on-site.
- The use of D8+ electric motors (which do not require installation of a security cable) is allowed. If D8+ motors are used, it’s important to have all the documents regarding CE certification and maintenance.
The deadline for the submission of stands plans for approval is Thursday 31 July 2025
All stand plans and supporting health and safety documentation must be submitted via the online portal, link here: https://zfrmz.com/Qi0PjRdZVjnayk6E9ql6
Stand plans are processed in the order they are submitted online. There is important information collected at the plan submission stage, so please note that email submissions are not accepted, please only submit via the online portal. Thank you.
Please note: Floor service chests need to be shown on your stand plans, this is a requirement for Fira Gran Via. The venue is quite strict about access to the service chests, as they are crucial for the proper functioning of the event. It’s important to make sure these ducts are accessible through a hatch or something similar
