Rigging is only permitted above your Space Only stand and must comply with the trim height of 6m (meaning the bottom of the banner to the floor must be at 6M).   

Rigging is only permissible for Space Only Stands. Permission will only be granted after a written request to the exhibition organizers. All Rigging must be included in your stand design and approved by the Operations Team before ordering services.

- All rigging related services must be carried out by the Venue.

- Note: Once you place the order, make sure that you supply the following details:
    - A fully dimensioned, to-scale drawing indicating the orientation of the stand
    - Description and number of items
    - Load on each suspension
    - Preferred suspension height from the floor and hook height (considering the 6m height limit and any bridling which may be required)
    - Dates and times of lifting and lowering

To comply with Dubai Municipality lifting regulations as from 1 Sep 2016 any company using manual or electric chain hoist within DWTC will be required to supply a valid test certificate.

1. A list of accredited inspection bodies who carry out inspection, and testing.
2. Dubai Municipality regulations for the frequency of testing lifting accessories and lifting.
3. A valid test certificate

- Where there is an overhead lighting truss on the stand, details of the truss must be provided together with a truss plot, weight of the truss and other lighting.

- Prior to plotting a lighting truss above a stand, it is advisable to confirm that this can be done as this is not always possible.

- Electrical installations or dimmer boxes that are used for lighting purposes etc. on a truss of a space only stand CANNOT be stored behind perimeter stands in the exhibition. An area must be built within your stand allocation. Any electrics that are found for these purposes will be disconnected and removed.

- All rigging must be an integral part of the stand design and should be confined within the limits of your stand area, including the 6-meters height.

- No hanging is permitted on any other points visible in the roof i.e. sprinkler systems.

Please note there will be an exposure fee of USD 75 per sqm, per side for hanging banners with a minimum fee of USD 500 on top of the DWTC rigging charges.
